Anna Netrebko will sing the role of Micaela in Carmen at the Mariinsky Theater in May 2010

After the Netrebko-Festival at the Wiener Staatsoper, where the Russian-Austrian soprano will have finally sung in April-May 2010 the roles of Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème, Micaela in Bizet's Carmen and the title role in Massenet's Manon, and before to go to London, where she will wing once again the title role of Massenet's Manon at the Royal Opera House starting on 19. Jun 2010, Anna Netrebko will sing the role of Micaela in Bizet's Carmen in a single performance at the Mariinsky Theater of St. Petersburg on 23. May 2010. The performance is scheduled within the programme of the XVII Music Festival Stars of the White Nigts as part of the Year and Russia and France 2010.
