BREAKING NEWS · Anna Netrebko cancels several performances in January 2012

Anna Netrebko is suffering from a bad cold since 19. Dec 2011 and, in addition, without delay she must undergo an urgent foot surgery operation. Due to all those drawbacks she has been forced to cancel several of her January 2012 engagements.

The affected performances include concerts of Anna Netrebko and Erwin Schrott in Baden-Baden on 3. Jan 2012, Hannover on 6. Jan 2012 and Mannheim on 9. Jan 2012. All three of them have been cancelled and will be re-scheduled later in the year.

The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden website announces that the New Year's concert at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden on 3. Jan 2012 has been re-scheduled on 29. Apr 2012.

The concert at the Rosengarten Mozartsaal, Mannheim on 9. Jan 2012 has been re-scheduled on 4. Jun 2012 and the one at the Kuppelsaal, Hannover on 6. Jan 2012 has been re-scheduled on 16. Jul 2012

The two performances of Verdi's La Traviata she was scheduled to sing at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London on 17. and 20. Jan 2012 have been cancelled.
