Great Hall, Moscow Tchaikovksy Conservatory, Moscow 19. Feb 2012

The soprano Anna Netrebko has performed tonight in a concert at the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

The concert, which was originally scheduled as a Rossini's Stabat Mater in December 2011, was later on cancelled due to illness.

The program tonight has featured pieces from Puccini, Verdi, Strauss and Boito. Netrebko has been accompanied by the Novaya Rossiya orchestra conducted by Claudio Vandelli.

BREAKING NEWS · Anna Netrebko cancels Don Giovanni in Milano on 23. Dec and Rossini's Stabat Mater in Moscow on 24. Dec 2011

Due to a sudden illness, Anna Netrebko has been forced to cancel her last two performances of the run of Mozart's Don Giovanni at the Teatro alla Scala in Milano on 20. and 23. Dec 2011 and Rossini's Stabat Mater at the Grand Hall of Moscow State Conservatory in Moscow on 24. Dec 2011.

Rossini's Stabat Mater concert at the Moscow State Conservatory in Moscow has been re-scheduled to 19. Feb 2012.

Great Hall, Moscow State Conservatory, Moscow 23. March 2010

Yesterday 23. March 2010, Anna Netrebko sang in a recital at the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory. Elena Bashkirova was at the piano. The programme was the same than in Mannheim and Salzburg in August 2009, a selection of works by Russian composers Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. At the end of the recital Anna sang two encores: "When my old mother taught me to sing" by Antonín Dvořák and "Cäcilie" by Richard Strauss.

Anna Netrebko will sing recitals with the same programme in St. Petersburg on 26. March 2010, with Elena Bashkirova at the piano, and Berlin on 29. March 2010, with Daniel Barenboim at the piano. This one in Berlin will be broadcast by Arte TV on 18. April 2010.

The new album "In the Still of Night", a live recording of her recital at the Salzburger Festspiele on 17. August 2009 with Daniel Barenboim at the piano, will be released by Deutsche Grammophon on 26. March 2010.

Recital of Anna Netrebko in Moscow on 23. Mar 2010

Anna Netrebko, with Elena Bashkirova at the piano, will give a recital at the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory in Moscow on 23. March 2010.

The programme of the recital contains songs and romances by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Piotr Tchaikovsky being the same programme of the last summer recitals in Mannheim on 12. August 2009 and Salzburg during the Salzburger Festspiele on 19. August 2009. The last one in Salzburg was recorded and a CD "In the Still of Night" will be released by Deutsche Grammophon on 26. March 2010.

Tickets for the recital are already on sale. The Russian company Partner.ru sells tickes at face value plus a service fee ranging from 0 to 10%. The ticket prices, including the service fee, range from 7,700 RUB to 27,500 RUB, which would be, approximately, from 185 EUR to 660 EUR.
